Sausage Balls...Perfect for a Party, Breakfast, or Cheat Day!

Sausage Balls

Cooking Time: 25-30 Minutes; Yields 6-10 People

Ingredients
15oz hot Jimmy Dean sausage
15 oz regular Jimmy Dean sausage
1-2 handfuls cheddar cheese; shredded
1-2 c. Bisquick (just enough to combine mixture and stick together)

Cooking Instructions

1.  Start by pre heating your oven to 350 degrees F, and placing parchment paper on a sheet pan.

2.  In a large mixing bowl combine hot sausage, regular sausage, cheddar cheese, and bisquick mix.  To be very honest...the best way to mix all these ingredients together is your hands.  Yep get down and dirty with your sausage balls, haha!

3.  Once everything is combined thoroughly it's time to form the sausage mixture into little balls.  I like to make them about the same size as a golf ball.
***TIP: Try to make the balls all the same size; that way one doesn't take longer to bake than the other.

4.  Place all your pre made balls onto the parchment lined baking sheet, about 1 inch or so apart, and cook for 25-30 minutes.  After about 30 minutes I normally pull one of the sausage balls off the sheet pan and cut into it to check the center of the sausage ball.  This allows me to see if it has fully cooked or not.  If there isn't any pink in the middle then they are done, but if there is pink then let them cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.

5.  Once fully cooked, place them on a platter and serve up to your friends or maybe your kids buddies during a sleep over.
***TIP: This appetizer or breakfast item is great during a cheat day if you are watching what you're eating.

6.  Enjoy!!!
***TIP:  I'm attaching some fun platters you can put the sausage balls on.  You know me...I always have to add a little football into a fun appetizer.  XOXO
