Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes; Yields 1 Bottle
Ingredients
1/3 c milk
1 tsp white vinegar
4-6 oz blue cheese; crumbled
1/3 c + 1 T sour cream
1/4 c mayonnaise
4 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
1 tsp white vinegar
4-6 oz blue cheese; crumbled
1/3 c + 1 T sour cream
1/4 c mayonnaise
4 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
Cooking Instructions
1. In a medium size mixing bowl add your milk and 1 tsp white vinegar. Let this sit for 5 minutes.
2. During that 5 minutes, open up your block of blue cheese. Break off the desired amount and crumble.
***TIP: The better the blue cheese, the better the dressing. I really like Blue Stilton.
3. After 5 minutes mash the crumble blue cheese with the milk mixture. I find it easiest if I use a fork and take all my days aggravations out on the cheese, ha!
4. Mix in your sour cream, mayonnaise, 4 tsp white vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
5. After everything is mixed thoroughly, pour the dressing into an air tight container. I personally like mason jars, but any form of tupperware works just fine.
6. The dressing should last about a month in the refrigerator.
7. Enjoy!!!
